Vancouver is welcoming a powerful new way to experience British Columbia’s ancient forests. Opening May 14, 2026, SANCTUARY: The Ancient Forest Experience at the Vancouver Art Gallery uses a 360-degree immersive installation to transport visitors into landscapes that feel both expansive and deeply personal.
The experience invites guests to look beyond the beauty of the forest and consider its ecological, cultural, and spiritual significance. It is an opportunity to reflect on the living systems that shape our region and the lasting relationship between people, place, and nature.
For local residents, SANCTUARY offers an inspiring addition to a Vancouver day out. Gather friends or family, explore the gallery, and support nearby businesses while making time to reconnect with the environment that surrounds our city. As a real estate professional, I love highlighting experiences that strengthen our connection to the communities we call home.
SANCTUARY runs at the Vancouver Art Gallery from May 14, 2026, through January 10, 2027. Save the date and visit the official exhibition page for details, tickets, and planning information: https://www.vanartgallery.bc.ca/exhibitions/future-geographies-sanctuary/
